Poverty is one of the oldest problems this earth has endured; In Pakistan only, about 87 million people are currently in this crisis, sleeping with empty stomachs hoping that somehow they get to eat a fulfilling meal every day. These pangs of hunger contemplate them to choose paths that are immoral and illegal in some cases. Quwat-e-Rizq wishes to help out such deserving people in a way that they do not have to worry about their meals and can put their complete focus on education or small scale startups to become independent and stronger than before. Steve Jobs once said, “The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” Following this idea, we, the students of Lahore Grammar School Johar Town, have taken our first steps to change the current dilemma of poverty from the world. Maybe this idea makes us crazy too: how come a group of schoolboys who do not even earn themselves is going to take on a challenge which is going on since the earliest of times? Well, this ‘crazy’ group of boys has adopted 100 families in Shadiwal Chowk, Johar Town, and has pledged to provide them with monthly ration for a span of 4 months. Imagine if this exemplary initiative becomes the norm of the youth of today, would it still be impossible to come out of this crisis or at least reduce it to some extent? We have laid the foundations of this noble work but now we need your support. Donate us in our cause and join hands with us in feeding the world!
